My son, daughter and my wife left for Kolkata on the ninth of November. My son and daughter are appearing for selection as cabin crew of Air India. It's not a sophisticated job that fits their qualification but it carries good pay and perks. In the long run I do not know whether it will give them any satisfaction. In the mean time I have temporarily shut down the petrol pump because I have to do the household chores of cooking etc. My younger son had undergone an operation for hernia about a month ago and he can not do any heavy or strenuous work. I am also utilising this time to get money by selling off my land in the village to cover the bank debt resulting from losses in business. Over the last two years I have discovered that the Hindustan Petroleum Company is actually abetting the pilferage of petrol/diesel by transporters by not following the international standards and rules. This I would like to discuss in more detail in my next post. Now I have just returned from the Railway Station where I had gone to reserve my return ticket from Delhi forthe 17th November. I shall be attending the hearing in a case filed by me against the HPCL Company Official for not disclosing the standard temperature for measurement of volume of Petroleum products before the Chief Information Commission at New Delhi on the 17th November. This also I hope to discuss in detail in my next post. Now I am feeling tired after a days work. Adios!
